Thrive Lactation provides parents with compassionate, evidence based, family-centered quality care tailored to your sole needs. You and your growing family are important so I will do my best to address your concerns in a timely manner and empower you with the knowledge needed to attain a functional feeding experience that not only works for your family, but also allows you to THRIVE!  

Prenatal Breastfeeding

In home - $175

This visit may last 45 minutes to 1 hour and includes a comprehensive history review and breast assessment. Great for first time moms who want to discuss breastfeeding questions prior to delivery or moms who have had breastfeeding challenges with a previous baby.

Initial Assessment

In Home - $200    

This visit usually lasts about 1.5-2 hours and includes a thorough history, an observation and assessment of a nursing session (includes evaluation of oral ties and tongue function), weight check, infant’s milk transfer, a customized care plan, report(s) to your health care provider(s), and lactation consultant access via telephone, text, and/or email for follow up questions or concerns for two weeks.

Follow-Up

In Home - $175

This visit usually lasts 30-1.5 hours and includes reassessment of feeding, adjustments to care plan, weight check and lactation consultant access via telephone, text, and/or email for follow up questions or concerns for two weeks.

Bottle Feeding, Pumping
and/or Returning to Work

In home - $175

Virtual - $125

This visit is especially for breastfeeding parents who work outside of home or are planning to returning to work. This visit usually last about 1 hour. Our discussion will assist you in preparing for your return to work and includes help with setting up and using your breast pump, flange fitting, review of milk storage and handling as well as strategies to protect and maintain your milk supply while working. (This visit does not cover breastfeeding assessment and addressing breastfeeding issues). Lactation consultant access via telephone, text, and/or email for follow up questions or concerns for two weeks.

Feeding Support

In home - $125

Virtual - $75

This visit usually lasts 1-1.5 hours and includes assessment of feeding, create or modify feeding plan, weight check, hunger cues, infant anatomy and physiology related to feedings. Lactation Consultant access via telephone, text, and/or email for follow up questions for two weeks.

Other Services and Fees

Baby Weight Check - $35 (breastfeeding assessment not included)

Twins and Other Multiples - $50 + Service Fee

Travel Fees - There may be additional travel fees for locations outside our service area. Please ask for details if you are outside our service area (Spring, TX).
